Head Coach
Steve Goes #33 Coach Steve Goes is a graduate of Lakeland College where he majored in Secondary Education and Broad Field Social Studies. Steve was a member of the baseball team there for four years including the 2002 team that reached the College World Series. Steve began his coaching career while still in college. From 2002-2006 Steve was the head JV Legion Coach in Sheboygan, guiding the team to a 110-56 record including 3 consecutive State Tournament appearances, culminating with the 2006 team reaching the State Championship Game. From 2007-2009, Steve was the Head Varsity Coach for the Appleton DoubleDays Legion Program, leading the team to two Regional Final appearances. The DoubleDays had a 78-29 record in those three years. Steve got his high school coaching career started with Sheboygan South, and was the JV coach from 2004-2006. In 2007, he took a Special Education teaching position at Laconia High School, where he was also the varsity baseball coach from 2009-10, leading the Spartans to two playoff wins in 2010, the most since 2002. In the spring of 2010, Steve accepted a Special Education teaching position with the Plymouth School District.
